Salmaan Khan

Salmaan Khan is a Senior Consultant at Vedeum, advising organisations on quality, information security and compliance. His work centres on translating legal obligations, standards and risks into a coherent governance and control framework that is both demonstrably effective and workable in practice. The aim is not to produce as much documentation as possible, but to make informed choices about priorities, responsibilities and the level of control genuinely required.
 
Salmaan supports organisations in designing, assessing and improving management systems and the governance arrangements around them. He helps create alignment between policies, processes, risks, accountabilities and controls. The objective is to embed these obligations in the organisation’s governance and day-to-day ways of working, rather than treating compliance as a separate exercise.
 
His approach is analytical, structured and pragmatic. He translates complex requirements into clear decisions and a practical course of action, with equal attention to demonstrable compliance and effective day-to-day operation. Through Vedeum, he works directly with clients and remains closely involved throughout each engagement, from initial analysis through to implementation and follow-up.
